The Perfect Software Engineer Viking Brings 3 Things

  1. Out of the Box Thinking

Creating software must not end with implementation but with a measurable impact on the business. You should understand both sides of the business in order to become the next Chief Tech Viking or even create your own viking navy.

  1. Let Data Work for You

You’re world-class at working with data-driven products, implementing software and getting data to work for you. If you’re not able to get data to work for you, bots will take your job. As a matter of fact, we’re building a platform for the eCommerce and tech space and expect you to be able to help give input.

  1. Learning and Life Goals

You have clear life goals and a talent for learning what is needed to achieve these goals. With society’s current rate of development, learning rapidly beats skills any day.

Your Suit of Armor

  • You enjoy finding technical solutions to real-world problems and love applying your analytical and engineering competencies efficiently and in a goal-oriented manner

  • You’re a stunning colleague since you have relevant experience in Java, agile development, reactive programming, building and using APIs, in-depth knowledge about building distributed applications and data processing pipelines and used tools like Netflix Hystrix

  • University degree in IT, or a comparable education might be relevant. Honestly, we don’t really care about that. IT is about innovation, pace, experience and creating value. If that’s what you love but you have a background as a high-wire circus artist, we’ll love the different perspectives you’ll bring

  • You think logically and realize that putting company goals before your personal goals is the logical thing to do and will ultimate lead to achieving your personal goals quicker

  • English and German fluency/confidence in both writing and speaking. If you convince us that you can neatly document code in english, we’ll skip the German requirements

  • 20-year work experience and maximum 23 years old. We’ve written many of these job ads and they never say much anyway. It’s not about the years of experience or age, it’s about the attitude. It doesn't matter if you’re 19 or 53 years old. Bear in mind that it is not a junior position, so we expect you to become 10 times better your first year in

Our Commitment

We’ll be successful if our company goals are met AND you become 10 times better every year you work with us; getting you that much close to achieving your life goals. We can provide the environment, challenges and guidance to achieve this, but we can’t do it for you. If you want to conquer the world, we have the ship and the crew. And of course, whatever we find in the new world, if you’re part of the journey, you’ll also be part of the success (an ESOP is one of the old world things we have on board. :)

Still here? That’s what we call a Viking. Now we’re really interested in you, cause if you’re still reading you might actually survive an interview with us.

Show us you’re worthy of your own Viking Helmet and send your CV to: with the subject: “Me join the true viking ship!”
